As an IT Engineer, you'll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems. Your contributions will be essential in supporting daily operations, ensuring security compliance, and optimizing IT processes to drive efficiency and reliability.

What You Will Do:
- IT Systems Management: Set up and maintain core systems (e.g., Salesforce, Jira) and validate new IT solutions. Regularly update and optimize business applications to support evolving needs.
- IT Onboarding & Offboarding: Configure devices, set up user accounts, and ensure new employees have secure access to necessary data and applications.
- Device Setup & Maintenance: Install and maintain computers and mobile devices, equipping each with essential security measures tailored to individual roles.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Address and resolve IT issues efficiently, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- System Security & Compliance: Conduct regular checks and updates to maintain security and align with compliance standards like GDPR.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify enhancements to IT processes, adopt new technologies, and share best practices to streamline support and optimize systems.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
- 3–5 years in IT support and systems management, with expertise in platforms like Azure AD and network management tools.
- Familiarity with information security practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2) are a major plus.
- Proficiency in diagnosing complex issues, with hands-on experience managing systems across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users and work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a scale-up environment where change is constant.
- Proficient professional communication in English.
- Availability on as needed basis in our HQ in Aalst, Belgium – at least 2 days per week.
